6 and 7mm Berger Bullets send to Australia

If anyone from Berger Bullets is on here... FFS SEND 6 AND 7MM BULLETS TO AUSTRALIA .
This is getting a joke . They move into a new and improved factory approx 12months ago so they can double their output . Well us aussie seem to be missing out
Our importers are only getting a trikkle of berger stuff and these are from orders over 15 months ago and once in they all sell in a day, so if your not around the Internet you miss out
So now because we don't have any bergers everyone is buys everything else up just to stock up leaving the crap left,
And its driving a lot of us nuts, it's so hard to get target stuff atm and no one knows when it will pick up

I whoeheartedly agree, BUT, I need 6.5mm, 30cal & 338cal bullets in 140gr, 215gr Hybrids & 300gr OTM.

Cheers.

I don't expect this situation to change much in the next 12 months. BRT and Q-Store both have multiple orders in with Berger dating back over 12 months and things simply aren't moving fast enough. Fact of the matter is, we're a drop in the ocean compared to the US market, and Europeans so we're always going to come in last when it comes to bullets. With the Aussie dollar now starting to really tank, Ken Melgaard's bullets may very well increase in use as Berger prices will undoubtedly rise. I make a point to stay away from Sierra as their prices are already north of $1 per bullet and Lapua are right there with them which is a shame. It may well be we don't end up shooting as much due to supply and cost.:(

Prices went through the roof when Nioa took over importing Lapua in Australia from D.W. Custer.

See pirate ammo’s post. Maybe some of us would be willing to send y’all some so long as it just cost us time and effort :)

Kind of what I was thinking.
Your not importing if you keep shipments small for personal use. Maybe no more than 500 to 1000 at a time.
Could be considered as gifts from friends.
Shipping costs might even beat what your already paying locally when you can find them.

If a person in Aus purchased from a supply house here then had them shipped to my house where I Forward to Aus , would that be illegal?

maybe , maybe not,,have to check with the customs thing,,export stuff,,

I checked several of the suppliers that I use and they stated in their shipping section that presently they are unable to ship bullets and brass (any reloading stuff) to international customers.

Must be some sort of State Department thing.

Maybe bc they are a manufacture. Might be different rules for peer to peer:cool:
