Weighing primers ..bored...

Not to change the story, but instead of weighing primers, try measuring your bullet seating pressures.... this will definitely tighten those groups up.

How much variation in seating pressure have you found to be acceptable without negativity effecting the group?

I try to keep them sorted by 5psi, With about 10 psi differences I see no difference in group sizes. Now when you start talking 15-20 psi differences you will see your groups open up. This is just my experiences.

Thank you

I believe in the km arbor is in ft lbs.
I seat with 30-45 lbs groups are better than 60+.
I spray a dozen standing in a tray with One Shot, 360° 4 spurts prior to sizing. The seating is really consistent.

I started weighing primers recently and culled the lighter and heavier ones, it bought down the es on my 284, I also seat with Hydo press with a max of 5psi spread (usually less)... It helps my confidence in the system, I believe I’m the biggest limiting factor for shooting small.
