20 boxes of bullets

Called midway to order 20 boxes of 224 berger VLD 90gr bullets and wanted them to be of the same lot number.
And they told me them would not look at their inventory to pick out 20 boxes with the same lot number.
So to make a long story short I called Graff And Sons and they were more than happy to fill my order.
Just want to say thank you for taking the extra 60 seconds to make a customer happy.

One would assume that a customer would want all the same lot #. Even a place like Bruno shooter you would think would try to give the same lot #. However that wasnt the case for me ,4 boxes of 500 matchkings were all differant lots. Alway best to confirm what you need. Lesson learned.Maybe bullets are sold like bread, first in first out. Gotta get rid of those stale ones. bruce

I ordered 3 jugs of H4895 from a top seller, it was too tough to get all 3 the same lot. I found out, H4895 is not a top seller here.

At least you got boxes. I got 500 Lapua L's in 5 plastic bags.

I bought (2) 500 count boxes of the 75 eld from midway because it was like 3 bucks cheaper than I could get the (10) 100 count for on brownells. What I didnt realize is that they combine everything and then repackage them. So I bought 2 500 count mixed lot boxes with no way way to tell the lot numbers much less the mix. Wasnt pleased to find that out upon opening

I had similar experience with eley 22 ammo. Wanted a case of same lot. They said they wouldn't do that. I left Larry Potterfield a personal message with no return call. called Dan Kilough and had them in three days. No more midway

Just received 100 Norma WSM brass for a customer that came in a bag. With that said, the packing was very well done.
I guess it's just the vendors way of trying to save a buck.

I have PM'd Larry a couple times with no reply ( must have been in his money bin)

I’ve noticed the bag vs box prices on some brass. A bag of 100 is cheaper than a box of 50 from same manufacturer. If you only get 60% of the bag usable for a lot, your still money ahead.
