I was trying to remember how you said to donit i should have taken notes.Everyone has their own way of doing this. I actually prefer to load 5 at each charge.
I also prefer to shoot at 300yrd min because a flat round can be difficult to diagnose at 200.
I then shoot round robin where I warm the barrel with 3 shots then shoot target 1, then 2, then 3, etc then do it 5 more times. Not saying that's the best way but I insure conditions of each charge are compared closely.
I also use a grid target. I'll try to attach it. I then find the center of my 5 shot group tossing a flier if I get one. With the grid its easy to see where I get several in a row at the same vertical. I frankly don't care about groups. I use seating depth to determine that AFTER i've found a node.
I then pick the center charge in my node and load 5 with different seating depths to shoot for group.
I just don't believe in 3 shot groups anymore.
It's a long process. And sometimes you just find that a powder, bullet, case, primer just doesn't trip your trigger. I had that with CCI primers and simply switched to Fed Match and bam, node and tight groups. And sadly I'm about to open a new lot of primers and may have to start all over.
It looks like you are off to a great start with your groups though.
