those little guys are living in the back side of the berm on the police practice range in Laporte Indiana. Watching them shoot I'd have to say groundhogs are safe LOL

Nope took the picture on my cell phone they were about 20 25 feet away from me out the window of my truck up towards the top of the berm. They're so used to traffic on that little Private Road they don't even run back in the hole when cars go by

Anyone on this site hunt groundhogs in Indiana?

We used to have ground hogs here in North West Tennessee , but years ago they dwindled away . My dad would shoot them with his 7mm mag and they would vaporize .

It's a quagmire where I hunt groundhogs. Probably take a good week to dry out. The little ones have had time to grow in to decent size targets so after that, it's Varmageddon.

Driving by a land fill on I75 near Flint/Fenton area and all across the huge green grass garbage mound are ground hogs everywhere grazing. Snert, not sure if you know where I'm talking about but it's been that way for years. I'm sure they all have ground hogs if there in the southern Michigan zone. Wonder If access is available in some of those sites ?

We have a late corn field being ravaged by racoons . It's legal to kill them out of season for crop damage control as is legal to shoot deer , as long as I let them lay and not eat or get the hide . We have about 100 acres a year destroyed by wildlife .
