Pregnant female loaded with pups, check stomach, she came in to bait at sunup as I anticipated due to trail cam monitoring.
Took a 17 Hornet at a lasered 156 yards, lungs,as shown in the picture, ran full tilt about 12 feet in the thick brush, flipped, and died. I pulled her out.I may cut her tomorrow and see how many # 20 since January 1st. And the year is young,I will hammer the urine aka $%ss out of them when the pups are born. Bear in mind the 17 hornet won't kill coyotes, according to some. First picture i'm holding my hand tight against her stomach.

That 17 sure did the job. You dispelled a myth there.
Thanks for the accolades; however, with practice, a good rifle, trigger and glass out to 200 plus yards,it's a winner. Know the quarry's anatomy, and you're stellar. I have an edge to a point having been on swat when young, intensive training , and the deer killing citywide program. Practice makes perfect. I've used the 17 for five years now on gh's and coyotes with a 99% kill and retrieve ratio, no coyotes were not recovered, and two gh's, a coyote took one,and one fell when hit in a four foot straight down stovepipe hole and wasn't recoverable,i'll pass if the shot is questionable. The 204 rides along when things go north of 250 yards.
