Box Stands for Deer Hunting

Sounds just like a outhouse! Lmao...Double wall pipe? Now that’s funny!
There are bucket alternatives that are more flexible if needed. Most RV dealers carry them.
Hey I was just trying to help with the creature comforts. Guys were posting bout movin in easy chairs n the such.
Can't tell us how many time I did my business before a hunt, then a couple hours in to the hunt I'd get a peeler. Come to find out left the TP in the truck. Nuthin like the tops of your socks in this situation.
BTW, I don't hunt in a stand, cant sit still long enough.

Nick, can you show us the interior of your blind. Some of the creature comforts. I think all of us would appreciate some views of the interior of the blinds now....Thanks so much...

Pretty heavy. Roof is 8x8 and has cdx plywood under the steel roof. Gonna be fun back in the woods man handling it up about 14' to the top if the walls. Hard enough at ground level setting it up.

Lean a couple boards against the walls and attach some 1/2” braided ropes to it. 3 people helps when in a bind at the top. Throw a couple short 2x4s inside for prying over or holding for repositioning ropes. I tie on the sides so can get past balance point. 3 of us put a 10x12 on a few years ago and had a hell of a tough time right at the top. I won’t do it again without trees and ropes pulling it up with a truck.

Thanks, I Like the 2x4 boards idea for sure. It's in an area I can't get a vehicle in. I think 4 guys can make it work with the 2x4 idea. Even 4x4s may be better. Less flex in the boards. No trees within 10 yards of the posts. At least not big enough for hoisting up any weight.

Try taking it up the opposite side of the door so you’re not trapped inside.

Progress looks good, John!
We'll be building a 2nd hut for this season, taller than our first one. This time, gonna build it right in location as it was too much if a PITA to move as one unit.
