Yeti

I would kind of be shocked if they didn't know who butters their bread. I bet this was more of a "holy crap, our margins are getting killed because of RTIC et al. Start cutting expenses!" Not shoveling corporate revenue at the NRA shouldn't be viewed the same way as anti-2A, unless they come out and specifically state as much.

Exactly how should we view them withdrawing their support of the NRA?

I really haven't seen an explicit withdrawal of support. Show me some action akin to what Bank of America and Citigroup just did. Not saying I am pleased with them no longer financially supporting NRA, but again, not paying them might have just been a business decision. Yeti has several term loans outstanding for a total of 470mm. Unless they can sustain revenue and cover their interest payments, they will go down the same path as Remington eventually. Ironically, the lead lender on their biggest loan is Bank of America- know that a default hits them the hardest. So, feel however you want, spend your money how you want. But know that corporations prioritize their discretionary spending same as you and me. Or maybe you are made out of money- I ain't.

Feel sorry for Yeti. They sued RTIC for making a cooler that looks like there's. Bitch move. They were mad because RTIC took some business. Pretty sad. I say karma is a bitch.

Not sure they thought this over, there are good and bad decisions, looks like this could have been there worst

They are going to have a hard time paying for their fancy new office by pissing off a large part of their customer base. Too many California refugees in their marketing department I guess.

If it wasn’t bad enough that YETI dropped The NRA Foundation as a client, now they’re calling us liars because we informed our members and friends of their actions.

The NRA Foundation has over 1,100 “Friends of NRA Committees” around the country. These committees host banquets and auctions that are attended by hundreds of thousands of guests each year. These events raise funds to support charitable causes and programs. The NRA Foundation supports the needs of youth programs for education, safety and training, as well as law enforcement needs, shooting ranges and conservation programs.

For many years we have purchased coolers from YETI for our auctions. We have auctioned off many thousands of YETI coolers each year. YETI recently dropped The NRA Foundation as a client. Not only would they not take our orders for more coolers, they forced us to cancel orders already in the system that they said they would not fill.

Three days after we notified you of YETI’s decision to drop The NRA Foundation, YETI issued their prepared statement in which they admit they dropped us but claim they simply eliminated the discount program and dropped other (unnamed) organizations as well. That’s news to us.

Perhaps the people writing YETI’s damage control statements are not talking to the people who enforced YETI’s decisions and refused our orders. We had even offered the YETI Roadie in one of our sponsorship levels for 2018 – which we’ve had to cancel.

We told you the truth.

YETI’s attempts at damage control is to say our statement is not accurate. Shame on you again YETI. You know you made a mistake. A big one. Now you must live with your mistake.

Its amazing to me. I guess the granola eating hemp shoe wearing nitwits in austin thinks more tree hugger libtards buy their coolers than outdoor hunting type folks. I just wish this would get out so the guys with the stickers on their trucks can see it

You gotta love it. Yeti using idiots as spokesman for damage control. It just keeps getting better.
