Well that sounds like lovely shooting weather.

I think I caught hypothermia today.. congrats Drew! - Get stuffed Lamey. Lol

All seriousness, was squaded with Drew and really enjoyed shooting with him and Aaron Madrid.. true gentleman both of them. Aaron was awesome with his 223 and Drew shot, well....you saw , very seriously. James won with one hand behind his back while having fun screwing with me. I had Norman on one side and James on the other side so I had to turn the filters on a few relays. Lol
I had a blast shooting a 22br with a 4 digit rem ! Didn’t place well but I didn’t go there for that, went to enjoy the match and try to stay warm! Lol
I actually did bring a wall tent - wood stove and slept in the field. Very comfortably. Thank you Aaron and Craig Burlette for the help breaking camp!

PS: thanks Tammy for the awesome food! And Amanda for helping with the hush puppies!

It's all over but the frostbite...

I'd like to thank the 47 shooters that came out for the match despite the terrible, and accurate forecast. That is a pretty awesome turnout. I'd also like to thank Christafer Strannigan and Greg Meredith for running an awesome match.

Randy Snook - door prize winner of the Burris XTR II 8-40x FFP scope

Randy last years Burris was put to use this weekend. My oldest son is using it on his gun. And all three of us like it a lot. They are very nice scopes.

Mike and jeff the boys talked about the targets and the 20 mm test rounds all the way home. They said that was the best thing ever.

Don, Craig, Mr. State Farm and every one else that helped keep a eye on my two jr. Shooters while dad and I were on pit duty. Thank you. They both said on the way home they would come back for state but it would have to be warmer. Much warmer. Lol

Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who braved the elements to participate.
I am sure it was a great match for all to remember!

Alex

Thanks to Ryan, Cristafer, and Greg for all their hard work.

Sorry to Norm for making you work so hard pasting my target. Hopefully you've recovered. :D:mad:

I noticed we had a few new people on the line and that Brian was helping one of them get started ... I think Spencer. I talked briefly to another gentleman that watched us all day Saturday and after walking past him several times I asked who was he watching and he said ALL of us since he was a club member interested in trying this... glad I asked and hope he does!
