Finally got caught up from the 11-hr return trip, that put us in early Monday morning (yes I still work) followed by a crazy Tues. Despite hitting the blizzard on the way down, the roads were in (mostly) good shape for our return trip. For that, plus not having the 4th relay (sorry Brian B and Keith), I am greatful.

I want to thank Ryan and the rest of the crew who ran the line, ran the pits, crunched the numbers and fed us very well. A great match and well worth the 1400 mile round trip. While this range has been rumored to be a bit tame, in my two trips to it, it has not played nice. But, for me, that is part of the fun of the sport. Yes, even when I get beat up (which happened last year).

The camaraderie, the good-natured rivalries, and the gathering of kindred spirits are what keep me coming back to matches in this neck of the woods. I believe that we can agree that the people are what make this a fun time. It would have been nice for it to be warm, too..just sayn.

Thanks to all who make matches like these possible, I know that they are alot of work, can be thankless, aggravating, and draining, but for those of us who have come to love the sport, as I have, I want to make sure that you know that your tireless efforts are very appreciated. Thanks for the memories, Drew

Drew, you really focused Sunday in a numbing cold and about froze me to death scoring you! Lol you earned every point, Very impressive shooting! You just may get the warm weather for the state match as requested!

It's gonna be equatorial hot and humid and there will be zero breeze on the line and in the pits. The only wind blowing will be just forward of the firing line. Further, if another shooter asks for canopies on the firing line we will cut down the one shade tree that is there.

Scott Young

Can we have canopies on the firing line for the State Match?

I can bring my chainsaw too. :p:D;)

Nice work! I’m thinking about a wading pool behind the line now Frank, maybe a necessary piece of equipment in July. Lol Don’t cut down those trees!!
Glad those Greer boys are coming, they’re good kids Travis!

We are a month out. The weather and the shooting is heating up in Missouri.

I have plenty of open spots, but I suspect it is going to fill up. Get your entry sent in ASAP to secure a spot.

The prize table is growing daily, and I'll be working on medals/trophies shortly.

Looked at program, looks like camping actually at range, that is great news.

Follow-up question, is the electricity hook-ups 30 amps?

Wade

I currently have 58 shooters registered for the match. That means there are 22 spots left.

If you are planning to come, please send your registration ASAP.
