I would tighten the neck tension up a bushing size and drop the hybrids. BR4 or 400 with H4895.
Be great if my Smith could fix piercing the 400s I like the way they shot... my action is a Stolle Panda F Class with standard bolt and firing pin assembly that comes with them, anything I can suggest to my smith to help rectify this problem?I would tighten the neck tension up a bushing size and drop the hybrids. BR4 or 400 with H4895. If your piercing 400s, your gunsmith can fix that.
Maybe try jamming them 5..I finally got a good day to test .. dam the node is small . Will test 30.8 to 31gr to fine tune
300m with 2206h/H4895 105gr hybrids. 015 jump, cci 450s .002 neck tension. 28inch kreiger 1:7.5 twist
haha you idiot .. I need to try again now conditions are getting better . just coz you got yours workingMaybe try jamming them 5..
Cheers for the advice much appreciated I’ll talk to my smith. There are a couple ways to go about it. One is reducing the diameter of the pin. If your Panda has a .075 pin he can bush it down to .062. Also, make sure your spring is 21-22lbs, and fall is close to .250". The other option is adding mass to the pin.
Still some fine tuning to do yet mate..haha you idiot .. I need to try again now conditions are getting better . just coz you got yours working
105 hybrids rarely hold up well at 1k. Many guys get them shooting very well closer in. If you plan to shoot 600 and less they may work out fine. 105 vlds and 108s are my favorites for off the shelf, Vapor trails 103 and Barts bullets would be preferred
I’ve got plenty 105vld Huntings if youde like to try em mate..might need to tell ya Alex 99% of my shooting is at 500m/547yards in our fly shoots . I only do F open for a bit of fun.
but I still have 600x 108gr bergers I will test also and see what happens. might even have some 105gr hunting Vlds somewhere to
