I drill and lap mine. A little work but well worth it.. Tommy McDo they make a die that will seat off ogive of specific caliber or is this the wrong thing to do? Wouldn't this be a faster way of coming up with your OAL especially when using a micrometer seating die? Or is it apples to apples

My cheap and easy fix to have the seater die contact the ogive closer to the full diameter was to use a larger caliber seating plug. Ie 257 cal for 224 bullets. Bedding for exact bullet is probably the most perfect way if one can get the bullet exactly centered in the bedding material.
