Small rifle primer 39.5 h4350
115 dtacs get 4 shot 1 hole groups then outta the 5 one will go bizerk to like 1" moa
Krieger 7.5 twist on a tika with a krg chassie.

At what distance? What were light conditions like? I have seen 1 moa change with the sun peeking in and out of the clouds.

All nuts tight. Haha
Out of the 100 rounds today well over half had 3 to 4 in same hole. Alot would measure in the 1's and 2's with 3 0r 4 rounds then 1 and or 2 were out in space.
Its like it wants drive tacs but something is wrong. Idk
Yes did the 6th shot some were even elevated to 8 shots becouse the 6th woyld goback in group but then 7 just wrecked it again.

Try seating them .020" off.

+1 on getting another shooter.I have a .243 Savage cast bullet rig that was not playing nice with cold bore 1st shots.Did all the usual tricks.Shoot a fouler then,post up bragging groups.....just count on that first shot being consistently 1" out @9:00.

Then one day got a shooting bud to test it(didn't tell him about the first shot out)....and dang it,he rips a 5 shot group that we were all grins about.Tried again with another shooter,same thing.Must've been something "I" was not managing on the initial bag setup.It's all settled now....solid performing rig.

Any chance your on the edge of a scatter node? Ive seen small powder charges cause big changes. And hot chambers cause ammo to act differently.
Might load 10 .3gr up and down for giggles.

First shot out is usually unsettled bags. 5th shot out is slapping the trigger or being in a hurry on the rest- usually the forend stop

Had the same frustration for years. Since I got my AMP annealer and anneal the necks everytime, my flyers (except those that are self-induced) have all disappeared. Now if I could just get some new eyes..............

I suffer the same when I shoot groups quite often and use a rear bag and bipod. Any tips for eliminating this?

maybe an f/tr shooter will give you some tips but you need to load the bipod against a stop

The problem is that small primer. Its to small for that slow powder and that large a case. The 6.5x47 is as big as you can go with powders that slow. Switch to something faster and next time maybe get a 6x47 instead or BR based 6mm instead.
