I am having a rifle built. 30" 308

I am being chambered for the Berger 200.20x bullet.

The load will be Lapua Palma brass with Varget.

Searching the forum for primer recommendations seems to be CCI 450, Federal GM205m, and CCI BR-4

Are these the go to primers to try for this load? Or is there one recommended primer.

I know of guys using BR-4, Rem 7.5, and Fed GM205M. Mostly a personal preference or someone has a bunch of one style. I recently switched to the Rem 7.5 from BR4s. My ES got better, but groups probably arent any better at 600.

I should have included 7 1/2's

Those are usual suspects. Want to see if there is one that winds up being the go to.

When reading the national match results I haven't seen primer choice mentioned much. Wonder what the top shooters use.

Since buying primers is such a big purchase (shipping plus hazmat) I want to stock up on the likely candidates. Or if one was a clear choice.

...and enough so that the lot is big enough so there is not variation from box to box...I learned this the hard way...
