you said RATS,,in Louisiana, what we call RATS are twice bigger then housecats,,make a bigger round!!!Finished up all my seasonal varmint ammo for all my various rifles, now working on helping out a rat shooting buddy by loading up his 20VT's as his work schedule keeps him away from his reloading bench.
After a couple of months getting mine all done, I wish I had a good friend that would do all mine next year! (hint, hint, Gary!)
BTW, Shown is an adult PD and adult ground squirrel skull. Big fat PD's at 500 yards do not compare to hitting a squirrel at the same range. First time I went after PD's, it was like shooting adult house cats! They are HUGE by comparison!

I'm far too cheap for that. While looking for the price, I stumbled on this setup:Liking this new tool. Well made. Shot some 220 Swift test loads after annealing brass (these are 700 22-250's - pretty quick to process). Seated 220 Swift with L.E. Wilson seater die - neck tension has new brass "feel". No tempilaq. eyeballed time in flame of 4.5 sec in dark. So far so good. View attachment 1037964
20 bobcat? let me guess - your creation? are you using a Dillon 650 or ...x? dam that's a lotta brass.I just finished up my 2018 PD loading about a week ago. 2500 rounds 223, 1100 rounds 20 Bobcat fireform, and just over 2000 20P loads.

that's easy. if you are hyper vigilant - and have a built in metronome... after 1000 rds, could be tedious? like the cheap$ factorI'm far too cheap for that. While looking for the price, I stumbled on this setup:

post some pix, sir.I'm working on my 6-284. Trying Ram Shot Magnum with 105 Berger Hybrids. Very promising groups today at 3313 fps. No pressure signs but, for the sake of the barrel I'd like to keep them around 3200 fps. We'll see tomorrow.

ah. the pups. 3fers. for guys who have not shot a .20 cal - hard to believe that littleIt is a Kevin Weaver creation. Actually I prep my brass well in advance, and it is all done on a single stage Forster to seat bullets.
And oh yeah, it all begins in early May for a month. Cooler weather, pups just out, and lots of green grass for them to feed on.
