Powder for Sierra 70gr MK, 6BR

I have a standard 6BR and would like to try shooting some lighter bullets. I usually run SMK 107s with Varget and CCI 450 primers

The barrel is a Kreiger 8 twist.

I am thinking of trying some SMK 70s. Any reason not to use the same powder and primer with the 70s?

Primers will do fine, but try IMR 8208 XBR or Benchmark should work well.

Lt 32 or vv135 i had better luck with 135

All I ever tried with 70 gr SMK is N133 and N135. 135 shot the best. See attached PDF for groups and load data.

Thanks to all, Larry and Jeff especially. I have always liked VV powders. I will probably go with N135.

I have a bunch of TAC which looks to be in the right burn rate range. I might try that just for fun. It meters like water.

Has anyone tried N530 in a 6BR?
