Lil wind flag project

I've been shooting for a long time but went to my first br shoot a few weeks ago. It was an ara shoot and what an eye opener. Showed up with just gun, rest, and just enough ammo. 1st round went horrible last 3 were okay but I will say I learned a ton. Everyone there were super helpful and very friendly. Biggest thing I have to work on is reading/knowing the wind and not to rush. I finished this lil bench flag today and got a good start on it's bigger brothers. I'm hoping to make it to one more this year to end on a better note. (Case on the end is 17 hornet)

I got everything needed at lowes or home depot including poles for my do it yourself flags. Just takes a little prowling through drawers.

Pretty much as ttfreestyle said. I got the corragated plastic from hobby lobby and had the rest on hand in the shop. Base is a 2x3x3/4 plate steel with 1/4 rod welded on. I turned the rod to 1/8 on one end and put a sharp point on for pivot. Made the pivot point out of aluminum and drill and taped one end for a set screw. 1/8 wood dowl trough the case and just stuck into the plastic sheet. Turned out pretty good.

I am going to build me a mini one of these.. i feel that the route that you took is a good way to approach it.. would be cool if i can find the right small tripod stand to use.
