Is this a forum for just rifle shooters?

Thanks for your answer. Since I don't own a rifle I will be on my way and search for an other forum about pistols. Have a nice day all.
 
I would think that most of us have a/some pistol(s) as well. The majority may not go beyond concealed handgun shooting distances and practices, but hey, start a thread and see where it goes!
 
The poster appears to have determined that he wasn't welcome here. Does anyone know what a primary tactic of PAWS,PETA,etc use in their efforts to ban guns and hunting? It's called divide and conquer. So when a shooter primarily of handguns is made to feel uncomfortable, what just happened?
 
I agree totally with Gstaylorg. Given an honest awnser and chose to seek a forum more dedicated to his shooting passion.
There are many good forums dedicated to handguns this just happens to be dedicated more towards rifles.
No harm no foul. :)

And primarily oriented toward rifle shooters who are trying to milk the last possible 0.1 MOA out of their rifle. However, most of us do have other interests. On the General forum you'll see all sorts of off-the-wall questions about things like water wells, dogs, tucks and even pistols. It's just that this may not be the place to get the final answer on any of those questions.
 
That dude is missing out. Should have waited for a few more replies. Can't tell him how to hide a glock in his shorts, but can tell him how to shoot one a long way. Not all long range shooting is done with rifles......

I guess I missed the thread about tucks but I have tried it and generally find Preperation H to be more soothing when shooting from a bench. Just be careful to keep it off your trigger. .....There; I kept it shooting related, on topic!

Basically, yes a rifle forum but specialty handguns are sometimes also discussed. Examples would be XP100s, rimfire and centerfire bolt action handguns.
 
I always thought a Main message board is a ''catch all'' where anything is welcome? It keeps the unrelated out of the specific posts ? Maybe I thought wrong.
