The targets are very similar to the ones used state-side, but instead of X-10-9-8-7-6-5 they are scored V-5-4-3-2-1. They also shoot shorter strings - 10 or 15 rds instead of 15-20 like in the U.S. So a perfect score on a 10 shot string would be a 50, with however many V's.
The shorter strings tend to magnify the effect of *any* mistakes... not many opportunities to make up lost points. Add in that everything is shot pair-fire, either two or three to a mound, and wind reading becomes much more of a factor. Accuracy still counts, but you have to read the conditions just right to snake 'em in the center.
