How that happens is that no one is actually counting them, they are packaged by weight & if that run was a fraction heavier than normal, you'll get 1 less.I agree. 101 makes customers much more happy than 99. Bakers dozen?
Lapua is my go to brass. I can't imagine them not making this right.

Certainly. During each stage of the case forming process, after each annealing, the cases are pickled to remove the discoloration. After the final forming process, LAPUA leaves the annealing discoloration at the neck/shoulder junction in place. LC does essentially the same thing with the 5.56 NATO brass.
