Which rest is best?

Just wondering which non joy stick front rest is better Sinclair competition sells for aboutm$699 or the JJ rest sell for $ 875. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks

JMHO, but I think everyone should have a premium joystick rest for BR..particularly for score. There are several good non-joystick rests available but I think one is well served if they give the coax type rests a fair shot before giving up on them. They obviously work, as most top shooters are using them. So, if you haven't used one or maybe haven't given yourself sufficient time to get used to it, then I'd do that, first. There are just too many benefits, if you can adapt yourself to them.

That said, if a standard rest is the only way you'll consider going, the JJ is great and I would also look at the Fulghum.

Love my Sinclair (wind & elev close) sold my Farley still have a Shadetree (which is smoother than my Farley). I shoot LR BR but if I shot f-class I would want coaxial. With a BR rifle that tracks well I would not use a coaxial.

I built a range box that I put my rest, rear bag and rest of my stuff in. but it's heavy. Usually carry rear bag to bench then take the range box to the bench where it stays till I'm done.
