Private land is private land and the owners can decide if hunting is permissible on Sunday but 1.5 MILLION acres of state game lands bought with hunting license money and royalties being CLOSED on Sundays doesn't make any sense. The PA Farm Bureau has opposed Sunday hunting. Most of the farms where I hunt are owned by deeply religious people that will not permit Sunday hunting regardless what the law says. I personally have no problem hunting on Sunday but I don't want to piss off the farmer who has given me access to his land.
I'm not against ARs, in fact I used one when I was in the Army in the 70's. I realize that this is the new weapon of choice so be it. But after 40+ years of hunting I've never saw the need for a semi-auto rifle for deer or varmint hunting.
