Probably not too much. The heat concentrates and 12" from the chamber, so that should give you a good idea about the burn rate. I'm guessing you'll still be in the high 3000s with ease.impressive. how much would one loose you think out of a 26" barrel (3 inch reduction)?
SavageDasher gets 3,080 fps with 30" bbl.in Dasher using that 36.5 gr. load with 105 Hybrids. I did it also but just could not hold seating depth. Any significant amount of powder less, that would not push the bullet up and the velocity dropped too much.
Thinking some people are using "creative" chronographs.
3125 with 4350 in a dasher I will try that tomorrow n let you know what I see.50fps can be explained away with the barrel, lot of powder, bullets bearing surface, ect.
Say what you want, imperical data doesn't lie. My rifle is running 3125fps with RDF bullets. I'm sorry yours doesn't, but that doesn't make mine false.

Thanks James I appreciate your info if I get a chance I will see what it does give me I am at 28 long.Don't be disappointed if you don't get those speeds. I couldn't in mine from a 30" barrel using it. My accuracy load was around 3005 fps with H4350.
Been waiting to hear, what did you come up with in your test?3125 with 4350 in a dasher I will try that tomorrow n let you know what I see.
My issues with IMR-4350 in a couple 6Dasher barrels were:.....By the way this is the old IMR 4350 in a tin can. i have 16 pounds of this thing gathering dust in my garage.
got a pound of 4320 gonna try it out, it sure does meter gooooooodWhen I couldn't find Varget, I tried 4320. It shot exactly like Varget with no tuning adjustment required on my tuner tuned 6BRX LR bench rest gun. I haven't seen any difference in fouling and loads are exactly as Varget.
Supposedly, 4320 is more consistent lot to lot than Varget, we will see.
Been waiting to hear, what did you come up with in your test?
Thanks ... Donovan

My issues with IMR-4350 in a couple 6Dasher barrels were:
- to big of kernels (crunch, crush) to get speed from
- very temperature sensitive
Good Luck all the same

Boy, I have shot a lot of H4350 for the last 10 years. Every lot I ever had was within 5 to 6 feet a second, it has been one of the most consistent powders I have used. How much hotter are you talking and when did you get it? MattSomething to ponder.... we finally got a new batch of H4350 and its way hotter than than the old batch....lots o pressure signs in a 6xc. Going to have to drop down.
Just maybe it's part of why everyone's results differ so much.
Tom that's funny I don't care who you are. LOLI'll trade you places if you want to see nasty lol.
Tom
Last outing using go-to load resulted in pierced primers and bolt lift issues. Probably going to drop at least .5 grains to see. Haven't been out again. We got it within the last month...was gone again a second after our dealer got it in stock.Boy, I have shot a lot of H4350 for the last 10 years. That can also be a sign of carbon in the throat. You didn't switch primers by any Chance? MattLast outing using go-to load resulted in pierced primers and bolt lift issues.
