6 Dasher 105 RDF/ H4350

200 yards, 5 shots, no load development. I was loading 105gr HPBT Hornady to .010" into the lands. Kept the seating die the same worked up to 36.5gr of H4350 and shot. Bullet is in the lands, about .015"

In that ball of shots is a 308 bullet hole (right hand side of group) I used for my aiming point. The zero on the scope for the 105 HPBT Hornady was the same for the 105 RDF.

Very nice shooting and good rifle handling and that load shoots, I am using 105 berger hybrids, 29.8 of varget 025 off the lands. May have to try this load.
They key is will it do it again, you need to try and post again.

Shot 50rds today all grouped similar, around
.25-.375 MOA @ 200yes, that's going from 34gr to 36.5gr. No load really shot bad, just some better than others.

It's a small section of aluminum reamed to the case specs, it sits on the case very snug. I make them for all the chambers I cut.

This is rather intriguing. Everyone I talk to that shoots the RDFs says they like to jump 30 thou or more. So maybe it's either a big jump, or a jam. They said they tried 5 off, and 5 thou increments out, and they didn't shoot til at least 30 off. I've got some to try but haven't done it yet. Shooting hybrids at 3k currently with 33gr of Varget.

That is what I love about this place....I had no idea you could get that much H4350 in a Dasher and get those velocities. Impressive!

.144" I'm pretty sure is what I gave this guy. The RDF boat tail/ bearing junction sits just forward of the neck/ shoulder junction.
