Recommendations for Tweezers for precision charges

Go on Ebay and purchase a pair of 4 inch long fine vascular forceps. They have a very small tip with two rows of small teeth. They work perfectly.

HeHe Hagpatrol.
That last quote in the highlighted area from that link too me is just hilarious.

Is it worth the huge investment of time to drill your powder kernels? That’s a question each reader must ask himself. But if you know the competitor on the next bench over has uniformed his kernels, can you afford not to do the same? Sometimes the extra effort is worth it, just for the peace of mind you get knowing you’ve done everything possible to achieve “ultimate accuracy”.
The way to achieve "ultimate" accuracy is to get more trigger time ,,,,if "we" would spend as much time shooting and practicing (in the wind) as we do trying to get the powder charge to the .00001 grain it would improve our scores dramatically ,,you cant reload your way into the winners circle,,,,Roger

It's NEVER all about shooting... I would think to win you need three things - a great rifle, a very good load, and very good shooting skills. No two without the third will get your there - simple logic. It's a total package and not individual parts.

I weigh powder to +/- half a kernel. You're not achieving that without tweezers. I use a very inexpensive set from the personal care section at Target. They have a medium point with no "teeth" and work just fine. It's pretty easy to see what you want at the store where they're all side-by-side. Is weighing powder to +/- half a kernel detectable on the target? Almost certainly not...you can easily calculate the theoretical maximum effect on velocity by determining the percent of the total powder charge one kernel represents and multiplying that value by your velocity. However, with the method I use to measure powder, having the tweezers within reach really doesn't change the overall amount of time it takes me to throw charges by much and I never, ever have to even think about charge weight variance as a possible source of velocity (ES/SD) excursions. One less thing to think about is worth the small extra effort for me, even if it doesn't [theoretically] do anything more at the target. The value of peace of mind must be measured by the individual.

I agree.

Considering several companies sell "off the shelf" rifles and ammo that will get you 1MOA at 100 yards, most everything in this forum is about getting from 1" to 1/4" or less depending on the individuals goals. I believe that, to be the easiest of the two cones to reduce or "tighten-up". The other cone is the nut behind the stocks ability. This one takes the most investment. That's why the former gets the attention most of the time.

True, however a darn good shooter with an average gun and average load will kick my backside 99% of the time even if I do bring my best ability and magical fun tokens.

Same here but since most of us can't be a "darn good shooter", we need some help from the rifle and ammo....
