On my last can
Yeah, I've heard good things about that stuff but finding it has been the hard part.
Larry, smooth surface by not letting the bore be 110% spit shined? I know first hand in RF that "totally clean" including a bronze brush is not good unless you are willing to recondition the barrel with lots of rounds....1/2 box?Brass brush and hoppes 9 and kroil patches along with JB . I think it has been discontinued. I have 4 cans of it! I used to mix it with Kroil.

Yeah, It has been discontinued several years ago. I found 36 cans from some of my various GM suppliers. I only have 1 case of 12 left. Mercury Quick Silver spray carbon cleaner was or is great. Don't know if it is still available.
Sorry, I thought you meant acetone. Are you sure, or is this another wild goose chase?
I worked at a GM dealer long ago and remember the GM Top Engine Cleaner well. The smell was very similar to what I use to remove carbon with now. https://www.walmart.com/ip/17491945...75035&wl11=online&wl12=17491945&wl13=&veh=sem
