22 BR and primers

Reviewing Sierra's 22 BR data they use Rem. 7 1/2, the data in the bulletin board shows a mic or 205M, 7 1/2 and a few others. What I didn't see were any CCI 450's . The charge Wt of powders is about the same as the 6 BR, which data shows uses 450's with many listed loads.

I've used 7 1/2's,450's, and Wolf SRM's. They all work good but I favor the Wolfs and & 7 1/2s.

I use 205M's & 7 1/2's in my 22 BR and both work well. The 205's are standard, the 7 1/2's are magnum primers like the CCI 450's. The 450's would work also - I use them in my 30 BR and they work well.

450's work great with 8208 in my 8 twist .22 BR. Awesome powder with a 75 A-max. A coyotes worst nightmare.

Thank you, interesting about 8208, from the listed data with 75 gn and heavier, the slowest powders listed were maybe H 4895
and mostly Varget with a little H 4350

Should have mentioned that my barrel is 21.5" long plus suppressor. Lots of fun.

THOSE 450'S WORK WELL WITH VARGET AND 53 GR V MAX'S IN MY 22BR =BUGHOLES !!!!

I use 8208 in my 22br behind 75 Bergers. 3250 from 29 grains. Very very accuarte.
