Did our Founding Fathers treat the African Americans and Native Americans as equals to themselves? The white man forced one group into slavery, and pushed the other off their land and marched them onto some pretty desolate places. I did not suggest "race" was the reason. However, it was in fact the "white man" who was responsible for the above examples. The color of a persons skin means nothing whatsoever to me, and the religion that person chooses to believe/engage in, is that persons choice. I have no say in the personal decisions of others. I agree that Governments are necessary and should be limited, however, I have yet to witness one that is "good".

How about reparations for all the soldiers who fought, spilled blood, and died fighting to abolish slavery? Did any organization EVER bring that up? NO, because it is not American to think that way. What hollywood does has nothing to do with it, sophisticated "humor" I don't care. I didn't say I liked those people either there is trash and horrible people on both sides. If you pay attention or look up some of the things Rush says he is a racist.

Just because you may be new, doesn't mean you aren't entitled to your say or that it doesn't carry as much weight as others. The date of entry on this blog means zero when it comes to this topic. You will find there are those who will defend each candidate and you'll wonder with some, just how "brain washed" they are about defending someone who cannot be defended. But that's the beauty about this country because of those precious words that REALLY matter. And those words are contained in the United States Constitution which many will interpret to fit their agenda. But welcome aboard and enjoy yourself. Hopefully when the dust settles (in November) and the arguing and name calling stops, we can go back to having fun with our shooting whatever weapon that might be and once again even learn from one another.

Rather than relying on the things you were taught by your teachers, and what you read on the internet, LHSmith, take a stab at researching actual historical documents, at both State and Federal levels. This research, will, of course, require you to contribute a number of hours of your time in your local State and Federal Archives facilities. By doing so, not only will you be enlightened by the things you find, but possibly realize actual history. Your home State played a part in this.

I have listened to him for years. Just because I don't agree with something doesn't mean I don't educate myself on what is out there. I call it like I see it. He is the same extreme as a Sharpton or Jessie Jackson. I am a right wing republican and have always been one. Have never voted Dem and never will. but I am no robot, I don't let someone else tell me what I think.
