6 BR recommendations

They shoot the IBS 300 score target. But there's a twist. Instead of 1 shot at each, they shoot 3 for a total of 150 points 5 x. I know most shoot the 30br at tips range but I like the heavier bullets (95-105) for their BC. I'm leaning towards the 105.

Would the 7 twist be to fast?

1:8 twist works great for anything up to 108gr. If you can find Berger 105gr hybrid VLD's, there's no need to buy anything else. My factory Savage 30"bbl shoots .25moa consistently with Benchmark at 2840fps for 100-300yds and Rl-17 at 2950 for 600-1000yds.
Tried the Dasher and returned to the 6BR.

Everything you've read about Reloader 17 on this site is true. It is a very different animal. I get best performance (100-150fps increase) with it in my 6.5x47L also. The only reason I still use Benchmark at the closer ranges is because I can shoot free recoil with the 6BR.

I was shooting at 300 yards yesterday with 6PPC 68 JDSBT at 3270 fps and a 6BR with 104 BIBs at 2900 and shooting both holding dead center each shot with both in same conditions the 6BR load shot well inside the 6PPC load,,in no wind the PPC shoots better but the 6BR has an edge at 300 in wind,,especially if there is no sighters after you go for record,,
