Finished my reloading desk

I actually keep my Stoly in the freezer, pour into glass and drink. The freezer makes it taste different and I don't like to add anything to it.

That takes me back! Stoly in the freezer came after my Schnapps in the freezer phase. I’m half Russian and 1/4 German so it was a natural. Why would you warm it up by pouring it in a glass?:D

I loaded my desk this morning. The bottom drawer holds 36 pounds of powder.:)

I have a special glass that I use. It is shaped like a miniature pilsner glass. Gets thicker the farther down towards the base you go. It sits in the freezer right next to the Stoly. Holds the cold very well. :D

I am 54% Irish. Have gone through many phases, Gin, Rum, Spice Rum, Irish Whiskey and finally Vodka. Been on the frozen vodka for some time. Can't stand it when people poor it over ice. All it does is water it down. What a waste. I will generally when out order a diet coke along with it, but mostly just straight.

That drawer doesn't look that deep. You didn't pour it in did you? :p

Why did I think somebody would say that!;):eek: The drawers are 26” deep on the inside by 22” wide. I was surprised it held that many. Some were the new Vihtavouri rectangular jugs. That helped.

That’s exactly like the one I bought for $20!!;)

I moved the desk into my new IN THE HOUSE reloading room, leveled it and bolted it together. The wifey had to get her 2 cents in: “Move it to the left! No! My left! Too far! Back some. OK! That’s good!” I kept it zipped!;)
Yesterday, I made a press support that fit on the end. Today, I went to the shop and looked at it. Screw it! I drilled the top.;)

I’m trying to imagine how much nicer it would be in here (My House), if I had a wife:eek: It would be especially nice with a wife like yours Pardner:p:D

I have enough wood to do another one. Come on down and we’ll make it together. Bring a truck! :p She has a lot of clothes and shoes!

Looks very nice Josh but, coming from you I wouldn't expect anything less. Will say,and realize everyone is different but, using really nice equipment.... and "desks" is very gratifying. No,it's not absolutely required, just nice to use and down the rd a few years when it's still bringing a smile, that's what makes it worthwhile for me. My loading "bench" is some early 60's kitchen cabinets we took out on a kitchen build. Have used them now since the early 90's. Still look nice.

Thanks. I’ve reloaded for years in a dusty shop. Then a commercial desk that wasn’t made for it. I figured this was my last chance to get it right. I’m running out of steam.

You had a nice setup in DE if memory serves me correctly. You built yourself a nice reloading bench there too. That was a I nice setup. Are you going to bring those metal cabinets into this reloading room?

Time will tell. Right now, we’re running two houses, doing the Snowbird thing. This move and set up ‘pert near killed me. Emptying the house in De. Might finish me off. Just the thought of moving my shop stuff scares me senseless!
