Zermatt Arms RimX new rimfire action

Looks like Zermatt (Bighorn) is bringing a 22 LR action to market. Very nice looking action and one I will be buying as soon as it hits the market. Waiting for a response on that date. Very exciting. I would expect others to follow suit.

Zermatt usually likes to get things ready before they announce a new product. I am expecting it soon (don't hold me to the fire). I have talked with them for a while about this and know they have been hard at work getting it ready for prime-time.

Well as soon as it comes out, I am 90% sure I will be jumping on this... I mean one rifle for all rimfire cartridges.. Sound like a simple choice of what to get..

They say spring of 2020.. So pretty darn soon..
I would bet they will get it on the market by March.. I am saving my pennies.

Just took a scope off my VarTarg. It runs with my Vudoo mags just as well. This was an early version of the action. Aaron is supposed to send a redesigned bolt and mag. No extractor cuts in the barrel, positive extraction, user adjustable trigger timing.
User adjustable mag catch. It's smooth and beefy for sure.
Bighorn makes nice stuff and I'm sure this won't disappoint. Rumor is, they will offer proof barrels chambered in whatever profile and length you want.
