Zeiss rangefinder

I have had mine since this past Nov. When I first got it, I took it to a park and was able to range a building at 1300. I have also used it during deer season and it worked well, although I didn't have an opportunity to range deer any further than 700. I would put it up against the Lecia 1200 CRF anyday and economically, why go for the Swaro??

Well, after a long weekend on the prairie, I was able to do some further testing of my Zeiss PRF. Along with the Zeiss, my friend has the Lecia 1200 CRF. We were both able to range a trailer at 1323yds, dogs/mounds out to about 500yds, and cows out to 900yds. There are differences to think about however. One major difference is the Lecia is very compact compared to the Zeiss. Optically, I favor the Zeiss. The Zeiss seemed to range slightly faster. The Zeiss has the ballistic drop system,I don't/haven't used that option on mine). I think, but could be wrong, but the Zeiss carries a longer warranty of the two. I would say that you couldn't go wrong with either one.
