What I have seen is a predictable bunch of cry babies that make a lot of noise and then move on when some other loud shiny object comes along.

I think there is great value to this thread if, in fact the rumor is true.

On that point, an earlier post questioned the validity of the rumor that youtube is changing it's relevant policies.
To that end, I went looking for some actual statement from youtube, and could find none.
Responses abound across the web, expressing all manner of reaction, and outrage; but nothing pointing to an actual statement from youtube.

So if someone has a concrete, original source from youtube regarding the topic, I'm sure many, besides myself would like to see it.
