Your Lad John make it to nationals with 3rd place IN Jr Olympics

So I finalized the match today with the CMP after The X count failed to respond to questions but John placed 3rd at the Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Club Championship which was the IN Jr Olympics state air rifle match 2 weekends ago. His score was high enough to automatically qualify him for the CMP 3Par Nationals in June. After much discussion he is going to go to the regional qualifier next week as well. He no longer has to top20/nationaly as he already is in, but we thought this would let him shoot shoulder to shoulder and get more practice. I'm very proud of how far he has come so quickly, & wanted to share with you guys.

Steady wins the race. The steady gathering of experience, learning to deal with the many situations, crowd/venue noise, lighting, mind control, rabbit ears as we called it in Little League, a military team trying to score their target to save me the trouble at a pistol Regional, getting my sillywet ammo mixed up......it's all part of the learning curve.
I'd say a 3rd and a second, back to back ain't too shabby...
