How are the memberships at your club doing this year? Our season is just starting at our small club and it looks like we are down about 30% . We just about break even every year after expence. Maybe we will have to raise memberships next year$.

We are running neck and neck with last year but last year was our best year ever.

Membership is way up but during the week, the ranges are virtually deserted.

While I try to avoid weekends at the ranges, even those days are not as crowded as in the past.

Most of the activity is on the "defensive pistol" range. The rifle ranges are dominated by ARs style rifles.

Well, We have a year waiting list for new members. Seem to always have plenty of benches to shoot off of. All of our club shoots are well attended.
All is well.

One club I belong to has a 2 year waiting list. It’s nice but only goes to 100 yards.
The other club I’m in has a “when somebody dies” wait list and goes out to 500.

460+ members on the rolls.
Our club has a waiting list.
Our bank accounts continue to grow every year.
Major projects and purchases are paid in cash.
Our club has ZERO debt.

So not bad I would say....

I have no idea on the financials but I do know that its extremely difficult to get in. We have all the shotgun games, two pistol ranges, a plinking range where people can shoot full auto I think, a 22 range, a bench range out to 200, a mid range out to 600, and we even have a cowboy action shooting range. Never too crowded. Sometimes I like to see it lively and other times Im glad Im the only one there.

IIRC, approximately 1500 members with a two year wait list. Except for weekends and before hunting season, ranges are fairly quiet.

NRA support helps many clubs on start up.

We have a 1500 member cap & a wait list. But just doubled yearly fee from $20 to $40. New member, first year is $80.

My range is building a new indoor pistol range. Must be doing OK
I hardly ever have anyone shooting on the (long) back range. Love it.
You have to qualify for it. Keeps the AR bunch away.
They have their own 25-100yd. on the front side to blast on.
If you put in a little time, dues are $110
