Yeti

A friend of mine organizes NRA fundraisers and he told me that YETI will no longer be supporting the NRA with donations or support. Another company falling for all the media crap. Considering their target consumers are hunting and fishing enthusists they are being pretty short sighted. I’m sure I won’t be buying anything they make.

go with rtic. a copy at half the price. yeti isnt even in the ballpark of an orion cooler but you gotta have a yeti sticker on your truck to be cool. you also need to know their headquarters is in the liberal island of texas so that may have something to do with their stance. rtic is down in cypress outside of houston- they are good people.

Really. Don't understand the whole bumper sticker thing anyway, no matter what the subject matter (other than the "heart my Corgi" window sticker one).

RTIC all the way. Half the price and even a bit better ice retention. What's not to like. Plus Yeti sued them because they were taking all there business. Yeti is out no doubt.

Anything but Yeti.... I have Rtic 65 and love it... Tumblers are great as well. I bought a case of them when they went on sale once and gave them out as little gifts.

Rtic all the way as well, Sad to say I bought 4 yupi's before I found out about Rtic. I did buy 3 soft sided Rtic's to pack into the mountains on the mules, every bit as good as the same yupi's soft side at half the price. Heard tell Rtic was part of yupi that split off?

No worries about me buying anything from them. Sorry, but a $79 Yeti 5 gallon pail with "Indestructable handle' is nothing more than stupid waste of money. Besides, i have never seen a worn out Sheetrock mud 5 gallon pail....seen a few run over and squashed, but never worn out.

easy answer: just send them an Email and let them know they moved to the she-it list.
It's a shame the NRA can't galvanize the 5-million plus membership to bulk Email them at a pre-determined time and take their sites down.

i'm sure that 90% plus of their customers are outdoorsy type people and that equates to at least gun friendly. but the anti gun stance is en vogue right now especially in the san francisco of central texas.

I purchased an RTIC 65 when they came out at less than half the price of a Yeti. It was a good decision then. When there 145 came out I again picked one up. My cooler needs were complete. My son was in the market as a new home owner so I went a little different direction knowing Ozark trail (Wally World) made some 9-10 day ice coolers. I bought the 73 quart for him. So far so good. He's extremely happy with it with zero issues. I'm certain it's not quite as nice as the RTIC but at 170+/-, it's a very decent cooler. He wanted a Yeti BUT at those prices, it wasn't going to be a gift from me. Now the they do not support the NRA, its a no brainer.
