Who's got good replacement barrels? I've got a new to me 6.5 br and not sure what to do with it.

Are you looking for a prefit? If so I dont know who's doing those. If youre looking for a blank then Id get a brux, krieger, or bartlein, or maybe a lilja. They do a discount for 15" blanks. Depends on who does the caliber, twist, and contours you want

I would add PROOF to the cut rifled choice
I would add Hart to the button barrel choice

If you have a Facebook account look up Randy Wise. He uses McGowen and Carbon Six barrels for his pistols. He does quite well in competition with his pistols out to 1000 yds

They're only 5 weeks late on an order that was supposed to be a 6-8 week delivery, guess what irritating the most is I've tried calling several times over the last few weeks along with a couple e mails and the only INFORMATION I've received is silence. In this case, silence isn't golden.

Urbanrifleman makes great prefits.He is on here.
Anthony at Crownridgebarrelworks Shilens are excellent,great CS. I have ordered prefit barrels from Anthony,had the barrel within a week.Shoots on par with my customs.I've nuted a couple XP's, holding the recoil lug can be a bit tricky,but it can be done. Best to have it pinned.
I have the recoil lug pinned on an XP, loctite the nuts to barrel,switch barrels.

Thanks guys. If i do anything I'll get a blank. Just wasn't sure what to get contour or length wise. My first order should be to shoot it and see how much I like it.

Contour and length would depend on your intended use. Ive got them from around 12" up to 18". Anything from skinny #2 through 1.25" straight. Lilja just shipped a 1.450" my way today.
