Wyatts box mag fitment?

Got a 700... and an internal wyatts box that doesn't seem like it will fit. Am I doing a dumb, or am I missing something? Trim the box so it fits around the threaded hole at the rear of the opening? Hard to take photos of the situation.

Yes you are missing something. You machine the receiver "tab" back to fit the box. It will end up flat across the back and eliminates the threaded boss. Wyatts will (should) have the instructions and pictures on their site.

If you didn't notice yet you'll go into and reduce the radius's in the corners as well.
