WVU Rifle scored an NCAA record

It is not a gender sport in the NCAA. Some teams like TCU have only females and WVU has both. I've known Jon Hammond the WVU coach for several years. He is a very nice gentleman and a great coach. I have 2 rifles from WVU, a KK300 that was his assistant coaches and Jon's personal one, 1913 Anschutz, that he shot in Beijing in the 2008 Olympics. One of our members, Todd Zaun, is the father of Katie Zaun. Katie is a soph. shooting for TCU and is one of the very top shooters in the USA.
I'll be rooting for Katie!
 
We sure need to give a big congratulations to John Hamilton shooting for Ohio State. John's Mother is a forum member and has really helped her son. John was the young man that grew up on the small family dairy farm and shot his old 22RF rifle in the barn and shot for his high school team. Our members raised money for a rifle (Feinwerkebau) that ISS in Texas sourced for us. John walked on to the OSU team and played a big part in a good year for the team.

That’s awesome I have met Mr Hammond. Very nice guy.
 
Mary Tucker cleaned standing! Shots 15,16,20 were 10.0. Any one could have been a 9.9, but none were. That was fun to see. Newton
 
In the individual smallbore finals-Grundsoee-TCU first by a large margin and our Katie Zaun-TCU is second, with the standing score left in this round of the finals.
 
Mary Tucker won the smallbore individual and Katie Zaun pulled into second place. Stephania Grundsoee in 3rd. WVU-TCU-TCU
