Would you shoot these brass

To put it bluntly, that is disgraceful, ease up on the case lube, after you lube the case wipe the neck and shoulder before sizing. Most likely wiping the die out before the next use would help. With a bit of care, cases can be sized without all those dents. At least you have lubricated the case and shouldn’t get stuck cases in the die.I hope I haven’t offended you greatly, but sometimes it has to be said.
I am sure you will do better in the future.
LOL Mike, I would have been discusted if those brass had been lapua but since they were free 223 range brass , not so much, in fact not at all. plenty more where they came from.
I know youre trying to help and i appreciate that but i have been at this brass sizing thing a long time (40 years plus). the 2000 before these didnt have any case dents. the above were just an experiment. Thanks and hope u had a great easter

Yup! Not competition brass but OK for blaster “revolution” brass. Not that I think there is a 10% chance of that but I still worry about that 10%.
Well seems guys our age should do like the old song says " Dont Worry be Happy"
ill take some in the pic out to try along with some 06 brass a guy gave me that are headed to their last hurrah-- all these guys will soon be residents of the scrap bucket together:)529063D7-A10D-415F-920E-CFB796942DCB.jpeg

Hello all
Please excuse me, I do not want to interrupt anybody. In comparison to you fellas I am a complete newbie, even though I have loaded a few rounds.
I am really surprised when you say that to much lube caused the dented cases. Only lube I have ever used was the Dillon spray lube. I mixed my own last time with 99 percent isopropyl alcohol, and liquid lanolin.
90 percent volume alcohol, 10 percent volume lanolin.
Using a cut off box with blue shop paper towels, lining up the brass and then sprayed, and rolled. Similar to what jep2 has shown.

I really appreciate your thoughts, experience, and wisdom, only thing I can come up with is that must have been really lumpy lube.
Thanks guys.

I never get this problem with Dillon DCL. But yes I'd shoot that brass all day long. I've fire formed smashed 223 brass way worse than that.
