Worse than a Vmax

So do a little semi - sorta scientific test with my .22hornet yesterday. Took some water filled beer cans sat then out at 100yd and sit each on one just to see what they look like after. It's no ballistic jelly but noticed different bullets will have them looking different. Well the bullets I was shooting out of my hornet where 63gr hollow points I cast ,gas check and powder coat myself. Now honestly was surprised with what happened because usually they zip right though whatever due to the hardness I like (15-17 bhn) well ended up there where pretty soft at only 7.2 according to my tester. Either I didn't water quench or I double air cooled them. I usually label everything pretty well but not these so just loaded them . Anyhow pretty suprised. Lil 2min video showing the results

Considering they were Bud Light cans, you should have shot them while they were still unopened!
Hay man if you wanna wastes money buying full one to shoot by all means I'll just go get the empties and same my sheckles :D

You know, the thing that surprises me about the whole Bud Light situation is apparently not many people realize that brand is owned by InBev and just how many labels that particular corporation owns, including Bush.
I'll stop there before this gets political and the thread gets locked.

Back to the OPs question.

A 22HORNET is typically screaming along pretty quickly. In my experience a vessel of a gallon or less filled with a fluid gets pretty well decimated by a high velocity projectile. I noticed you had a Magnetospeed attached to your barrel. I presume that wasn't just for eye candy. What velocities were you recording?
A 22Mag will flat make a mess out of a gallon plastic milk jug water filled at 300 yds for instance.

I’ll check it out.
Does the Colorado Trout Water(Coors) have any stigma against it now?
idk---never liked the bullets---gold can was ok. My buddy knew the family in PA (yeunglings son in law...) and started bringing it back 25 yrs ago...now major distribution here. read their history---pretty neat. got caves for storage

Bud light: NO elected officials were involved so it was not political. Anhesier Busch buys more rice than anyone. That’s great and good for them. What they did was not taken well by normal people ie the people that pay for Bud Light. We responded reacted and good for us. InBev has yet to make changes so “helix” them.
What was this thread about? Oh yea, worse than a vmax.
