WOODEN cleaning vise?

I have had a Decker since about 1989 or 90...it looks like hell these days, but it still works perfectly. I clamp it up in a Black and Decker Workmate and it is steady enough to do what I need, which is mostly scrub out bores.
I have thought about making a "prettier" one that has a part underneath to store cleaning rods. It would also be nice to have the forend part adjustable for up and down so it can be leveled. I level it now by putting folded towels under the forend. Leveling is handy when glass bedding or soaking a bore overnight so the solvent don't run out the muzzle or back into the breech.
