Tipton Best Gun Vise

I used the Tipton best gun vise until I saw the Real Avid master gun station a year or so ago. I really like it and it works a lot better for what I need it to do.

I've used the Tipton for almost seven years now with no issues whatsoever . Good unit for the price , and it's designed to do as advertised .
It holds my $8,000 TR Rifle and my customs as well . It even does a good job holding my cheap Chicom Junk SKS and Mosin-Nagants , too ! You know !..............Those cheap junk combat rifles that go "BANG" every time you pull the trigger !

Anyone use this ? Need a mobile gun stand/vise for cleaning and maintenance.

Best Gun Vise

I have one, and its been hanging in my garage rafters since I bought it. It just doesn't work for my bolt actions and heavy BR rifles. The clamps don't hold things tight enough to even clean a barrel. A no vote from me.

The Ultra Vise is much more versatile than the Best Gun Vise.

If you were closer I'd give you my extra one.

Anymore I use my old Cowan front rest and a spare rear bag when cleaning or needing the rifle set up to do something too.
