Being a newbie shooter & re loader, I'm pretty stoked to say the least. . It was a 300 yd 3x60 mid-range match last Sunday at Bayou Rifles Houston where I have recently joined. I high scored the 2nd & 3rd matches and won the aggregate shooting in Masters, (I'm am not yet classified). I would like to thank all the forum members from whom I purchase about 90% of my rig from for some great equipment & reloading tools/components. All you guys have been very helpful with your tips & advice. Not to mention the information overload on this website. So thank-you too Accurate Shooter.com! You've got a monthly donator for a long time.

First good job. Now, you realize there is only one way to go.....down the rabbit hole. Good luck, shooting sports are great.

Exciting to hear your first match went well for you... Nothing better than a plan coming together for a new shooter... “The Man to beat is the man that can put it all together”. You have work to do, stay determined and you will go forward to win another...

Evidently great shooting against that bunch down there!
Yes, I was curious about what caliber, bullets, etc.
Rifle I acquired here on the forums:
Eliseo R1 chassis, Borden Tube action w/coned bolt. RBLPRE
Jewel trigger tuned by Jim Borden.
Krieger HV barrel 26" chambered in 6 Br Norma .265 neck ,1x8 twist . 400 rounds by previous owner.
The front pickle forks I got from Competition Machine that I dressed-up on a mill & anodized.
The rear bag rider I machined from solid brass to get to max weight. It really seemed help keep the gun on track vs my Comp. Machine aluminum unit.
Front T-Rex Rest & Kahles K1050 scope I also scored here on the forums.

I'm currently firing new Lapua 6BR Norma, CCI 450, 31.2 gr. Varget, Berger 105 VLD's trimmed & pointed, seated .019" in the lands.

This overnight success has been about 5 months in the making (lol). Still got a bit of practicing & testing to do to compete with some of those bad dude High Master scores I saw last Sunday.
