The match is a 2 day, 4-gun 600. It's open to sling and F-class. 2 sighters and 20 for score, 4 times each day. This match is held at LaCrosse Rifle Club, just south of the city in the Mississipi river bluffs.

It sounds like it's full already. I emailed last week and Tyson and I are on a waiting list. I was looking forward to it, just waited to long to commit. Have fun!

Scott, Scully- You guys can always make a trip up north and visit us Norskies. The ND midrange regions is the same weekend in GFK, that's where I'm headed. Bringing my camper, got tons of room. Give ya an opportunity to shoot in a WIND!! LOL. Scott, I do believe I owe ya some $ for the team shoot, don't let me forget. You do know how I endure those "senior" moments, like having two different loads in the same ammo box..lets just use one for sighters and the other for record, Not a good idea!! Eric in DL

Pat, you could have came and shot with us after all. They had 3 shooters cancel on Thursday. I ended up 6th in open, a couple points behind Earl.

Matt Griffin was THE MAN this weekend on the sling side. Dropping only 2 points over 8 matches is just outstanding shooting. The rest of us were just along for the ride.

In 2001, Boots Obermeyer fired back-to-back 200-19X scores in that state championship, but did not win the agg (it was a 4x600 agg beck then). He turned around and fired a perfect 800 the next year to set the (then) state record.
