Wipe Out

I leave you with one more tip on Wipe-Out. If you get it on your hands, any at all, it is a very good idea to wash them immediately after you are finished applying it, with warm soapy water. It is not that it will hurt your hands, but even if you thoroughly wipe your hands, there will be a residue, which is enough to irritate the edges of your eyelids should you absentmindedly rub your eyes. This is not what I would call a severe danger, but in warm weather I have the habit of rubbing away the sweat around my eyes with my open palm. Once when I had done this after wiping some Wipe-Out off of my hands, I started to notice a slight irritation of the edges of my eyelids, which was remedied by flushing with water. Since then, I wash my hands immediately after handling any of the material, and the problem has not reoccurred. I should add that I like and use the product.
Not to say anything about the amount of chemical that is immediately absorbed through the skin before you and after you wash your hands . I use the blue nitrile disposable gloves when cleaning .
You probably shouldn't drink it either ;D

Happy to pass on what I do. I should clarify that I don't use all of them at once lol. Just depending on the situation, I will use one or the other. My preferred is:
1. After a match, come home or to the hotel room, and apply Accelerator and Wipe Out.
2. Go to dinner
3. Run a patch through.
4. Re-apply just in case.
5. Wake up in morning, patch out
6. Go shoot

If I have not done that, then I will use Patch Out as needed. I will add to the advice on applying WO:
I use Delrin bore guides from Sinclair, and have counter-bored the breech end with a 3/8" bit, about a half inch deep. Then I use a couple feet of 1/4" ID clear plastic tubing which fits snuggly into the 3/8" hole. With the O-ring on the boreguide, this seals the breech end. I lay the rifle slightyly muzzle up, and hang an old large mouth Pepsi bottle on the muzzle to catch excess foam, and gently squirt the WO in, stopping when I have a small amount coming from the bore.
