Only if you want to shoot small groups. Are wind flags useful, when shooting 100 yard targets ( 6ppc 66 gr. bullets at 3,300 fps )?
That's amazing to me, that when it only takes 9/100 of a second for the bullet to reach the paper, wind can have any effect on it's flight path.
I have ordered some flags, because I keep reading sentiments like yours.

I’m dizzy from all the odd colors . It should be mandatory green and orange.Just think, if those flags werent there most shooters on here would call that a calm 5mph wind. You can also see some poor flag designs along with good ones. You also see how bad setups caused the flags to become useless when the tails got knotted on the poles. This is a good video to show how much wind changes out away from where you can feel it. Just shows how much of a waste of components it is if you want the best accuracy and deny you need flags
which is more than a bullet hole of space from the group. Same with a 115gr .308 in a 5 mph wind.Hornady 52 gr eld match .247 @3700 fps=.3" drift at 100 yards with a 3 mph right angle wind. Most people will not feel(notice) a 3 mph wind on the face.
