Wind flag construction

Well I am starting to build my first set of wind flags. I am using a few ideas from this article . http://benchrest.com/articles/articl...tructions.html and some ideas I have read form Mike Ratigans book. For stands I am looking at music stands, and may be able to get them new for around 12 bucks each.

My plan is already started, I got a sheet of choraplast, or corrugated plastic, The way the sheet is layed out I cut them into 12x 4 panels, Mikes book said he used 16.5 x 4 out at 100 yards, but due to the way the sheet was I could not make them longer than 12 and I did not think it would make that much diference. I am doing like Mikes book and attaching the music wire to the flag and the brass tube to the stand, I got ball berrings that the music wire will ride on, that fit tightly in the tube. I will attach surveyors tape on the top back corrner of the flag with either a paper clip, or fishing swivels, or just put a hole in them.

Now my questions are first does this sound like a good plan?

What should I do the the front of the flag, I see in Mikes book he took the top corrner off of the front and left the bottom alone, looking more box like than the triangles in the article. Or should I cut them down farther into more of a triangle base, or should I cut the top and bottom and make them look more like an arrow, or last just leave them alone?

Last I see in Mike book he mentions that his are tail heavy, and the triagle look to be the same way, should I also make mine tail heavy or ballance them?

Well thanks for all the help guys, I greatly appericate it. I need all the help I can get.
