Yup, but its dirty until you push it harder, and i wouldn`t advise it. There`s better choices out there.

I tend to be a pusher, and I liked the numbers, but I hate dirty powder. Think I'll hold off unless someone has a glowing report. Thanks.

In my last 22/250 (Sako) I used it. I used 42.5 grs under a 53g Hornady Match in a laupa case lit with a Rem 9 1/2 M. Accuracy was appx .5 and velocity was 3800 gt/sec. If you use 6.5 be aware that it spikes real fast.
Edit to Add: I went as far as 43 grs and it seemed ok, but stayed at 42.5 because it grouped better. I wouldn't have went beyond 43 grs because of how fast it spikes. No signs just spikes. JMO

I have not, but have in 6 creedmoor, didn’t like it!… I was running it hard and still felt it was dirty.

I tried it with 52gr match bullets. Got to 42.5 without mishap. Not impressed. SD & ES were terrible & groups @ 100 yds were nothing to write home about either. As mentioned above it has been real peaky in other cartridges. I have some Staball Match loaded for the next trip. Hoping it's a little better.

I have used it some, in my Tikka.
I shot the 65 grain Sierras with decent accuracy @ 3350 fps, killed a fox and a couple ground hogs. I didn't push it but probably could have gone up a little with the powder charge. The 64 grain Berger also shot good, killed a few ground hogs with it but didn't chrono that bullet. Also the 64 grain Game Changer but didn't spend much time with them.
Hodgdon shows some pretty impressive velocities with it, that's why I tried it. I have an 8 pounder of it and could probably get along fine if that's all that I had.

I am using it in a 6.5x47L 38gr Staball 6.5 and a Hornady 143EDLX. Better accuracy then Varget, going to try it in my 6x47L.
