Wow, is that predecessor to the Dakota model 10?Good Enough.
You like single shot rifles, every hear of a Miller Arms "F Action"? ASSRA, American Single Shot Rifle Assn; runs competitions. Dean Miller built the Miller-DeHaas striker block actions. I worked with Dean to design the 32 Miller Short cartridge. It owns Schuetzenfest Matches. ASSRA responded by establishing a rule to require cartridges available before 1898. That is why CPA does the 32-20 CPA wildcat based on the original 32-20 (uses .312" bullets) to use the common .321-.322" bullets used in the 32-40, etc. Miller Arms responded by updating the original Milton Farrow (1880's) external hammer design and offering it. They only built about 15 to perhaps 20 before the company was sold to Dakota Arms. I own the rifle Dean's son Cyle built in .348 as a hunting rifle. I'll have to send you a picture one of these days.
